Terms of Sale

• Due to the volatility of the petroleum markets, prices are subject to change without prior notification. We reserve the right to pass along any increases or impact fees which we receive from our vendors. In the event of an increase, we will honor prices for 30 days from date of quote.
• Due to NYS sales tax regulations, we are required to have valid sales tax certificates on file for any order we ship within NYS or we must collect NYS taxes at the rate in effect at time of sale - Orange County New York sales tax is currently 8.25%. Your NYS county rate may be different. We are required to have your valid sales tax certificate on file if you are legally liable to collect NYS sales taxes in New York State or if your state has reciprocal tax collection agreements with New York State. 
• NYS residents or Distributors shipping to a NYS address - click here for NYS Sales tax & use form.
• We accept all major credit cards -  Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.  Credit card billing will appear on your statement as "Putt Georgi Ltd". ARO 2000 is a subsidiary of Putt Georgi Ltd.
• PAYPAL -  We accept payments by Paypal.
• WHOLESALE ONLY - We require a form to be filled out authorizing us to charge your card for each purchase as "single" or "blanket" use. Click here for our wholesale credit card form.
• C.O.D.- wholesale only -first time orders require money order, certified check or credit card until credit worthiness can be verified. Company check for well established accounts only. Certain items must be pre-paid - any Olde Tyme™ pattern, Special or Custom order. 
• Checks returned for any reason will put the account back to cash, certified or credit card only. A $30.- returned check service charge is in effect.
• All items are shipped F.O.B. Walden, NY 12586. We charge the carriers' current posted rates, plus handling & COD fees if any. COD shipments are sent with a COD tag on each box. The carriers charge up to $10.- per COD tag. 
• OPEN ACCOUNT - For extremely well established accounts only.  Net 10-15-30 from date of invoice or Net 10-15 from end of month (EOM). We do not charge late fees. Direct or Drop shipments will be suspended until past due amounts are paid. We will not ship to any account which is past due except on a C.O.D. basis, and will include any past due amounts. We will ship your order billing your freight account. We will drop ship an order to a location other than the customers address if we are given a valid UPS or FedEx account # for 3rd party billing.  We do not add a surcharge for drop shipments.
• UPS & FedEx require shipping charges to be paid within 14 days from their invoice. A 5% surcharge is assessed by both UPS & FedEx on all invoices unpaid after 14 days. If we do not have your shippers account # on file, we must be paid at time of shipment. 
• EXPORT SHIPMENTS -  For shipments by USPS Airmail, FedEx or UPS. Shipping fees include insurance and handling fees, but do not include taxes. duties, brokerage fees, etc.
• Incomplete or damaged shipments must be reported immediately.  We reserve the right to charge up to a 25% restocking fee on all returns not due to our error.
• In no event shall ARO 2000 be held liable for any labor, loss, inconvenience, or damage whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, except as set forth herein.

General Return policy

We guarantee that all ARO 2000 products are dimensionally equal & accurate to our proven paper patterns. All items are produced using automated cutting equipment which is calibrated every cutting shift & anytime  cutting blades are changed. This guarantees the consistent quality our customers expect. Many installation problems can be solved with a simple phone call. If a problem should arise, call while the installation is being performed - 845-778-1314. 

• Examine all items carefully for defects & correctness of parts required prior to installation. No returns or claims for noticeable physical defect or incorrect parts once installation has been started. 
• Un-installed items are non returnable after 30 days from date of purchase. (Does not apply to SPECIAL ORDER-NON RETURNABLE ITEMS.) Items must be clean & carefully re-packed in the original packaging & must contain ALL items & accessories as shipped. ITEMS RETURNED IN SMALLER THAN ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN CREDIT. We recommend that any item being returned for any reason be well protected & well insured in the event of loss or damage while in transit.
• SPECIAL ORDER-NON RETURNABLE ITEMS include - but are not limited to - any item of which we sell less than 10 units annually per color as well as all Pre 1961 Olde Tyme™patterns.
• Un-installed full vues are non-returnable due to handling problems- scratches, imprints, etc. 
• We are not responsible for any item sent back without a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA) 
• Returned items must be sent freight pre-paid. COD's will be refused. 
• Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable for items returned or exchanged not due to our error.  In the event of a return due to our error or due to a defective item, we will ship the replacement item by ground at our expense. Premium shipping services are the responsibility of the customer.
• In no event shall ARO 2000 be held liable for any labor, loss, inconvenience, or damage whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, except as set forth herein.
• We reserve the right to charge up to a 25% restocking fee on all returns not due to our error.

For any 1981-present item :

• All products are inspected for rips, tears, holes or other quality defects before shipping. Claims for any visible defect will not be allowed once installation has been started. Partially installed items are non returnable
• Un-installed items are non returnable after 30 days. Items must be clean & carefully re-packed as shipped.
• Returns must be sent back freight pre-paid. Cod's will be refused. 
• Call for an RGA#. We are not responsible for unauthorized returns.
• Saleable items subject up to 25% restocking fees depending on model & materials used. Credits applied to credit cards subject to an additional 5% surcharge.
• Un-installed full vues are non-returnable due to handling problems- scratches, imprints, etc.
• Special orders - colors, custom bound, non original style materials, etc are non returnable & cannot be cancelled once cut for production.

For 1961- 76 models - as noted in the catalog with an asterisk *

Due to the age of the vehicle & demand for replacement parts,  replacement items for certain pre 1981 models are made to order. Depending upon the model & material, we suggest  offering your saleable parts online through car clubs, Ebay, or other such outlets.

Pre 1961 ( Olde Tyme™ patterns )    -      non returnable , non refundable.

• We guarantee that all ARO 2000 products are dimensionally equal & accurate to our proven paper patterns. All items are produced using automated cutting equipment which is calibrated every cutting shift & anytime cutting blades are changed. This guarantees the consistent quality & fit our customers expect.
• These are proven patterns, having been successfully installed during 1000's of installations. Utilizing the in-house trim department started in 1919, many of these pre 1961 patterns were developed within a few years from when the vehicle was brand new!
• Be sure  the correct year/model item was ordered. 
• Adjust bow heights to meet our pattern requirements. Many times problems arise when the top bows are not spaced properly, or the replacement wooden bows have too much or too little arc as originally designed. Occasionally wood bows need minor shaping with a rasp to correct the problem.
• These patterns are not intended to be installed on any REPLICAR, or custom modified vehicle - i.e.  converting a hardtop sedan into a convertible. We will not process a claim for any of our products which are being installed on a custom manufactured or modified vehicle, unless we have been given a pattern to manufacture to customer specifications. 
• If there is a substantial difference between our pattern & what is on your vehicle we require that the old top being replaced be sent back for comparison against our patterns. In the event the old top is not available, we require photos of the problems experienced. 
• We will repair or replace for material cost only. No additional credit or refund possible. 
• In no event shall ARO 2000 be held liable for any labor, loss, inconvenience, or damage whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, except as set forth herein.
